12 Months on 12 Acres, SIGNED

A treasured local artist, Ruthie Windsor-Mann, has created a beautiful living diary of her time on 12 Acres in Rappahannock County, Virginia.

We highly recommend this is a gorgeous and delightful book by artist, Ruthie Windsor Mann. The changes of seasons in rural Rappahannock County have been colorfully and creatively rendered over a 12-month period.  Her free-hand drawings give strong movement, depth and life.

Her color swatches for each piece are shared with the viewer to understand her painterly process. Deftly and expansively using watercolor and gouache, layer upon layer of nature's bounty, active animal and plant life, buildings, farms, distant vistas and deeply intricate skyscapes, give the viewer an insightful look into the beauty and joy of Ruthie's world. All the senses are beautifully represented three-fold, and we are the lucky ones to receive that joy. ~ Joanie Ballard
